Meet Laura

Laura O'Toole has been designing and decorating home interiors and exteriors for twenty years. Her design experience coupled with the skill sets she acquired over the course of seventeen years as a financial services executive translate into a positive and rewarding experience for her clients.

A native of Newport Rhode Island, Laura has a tremendous love for architectural design elements and all of the decorating accompaniments that make them come alive. In collaboration with her clients she has created timeless beautiful homes for their families to live in and enjoy as well as homes that are very marketable should the requirement or desire present itself.

The detailed finish carpentry in the interiors of the homes she has designed are a modern day adaptation of the late 19th and early 20th century Gothic Revival, Shingle Style and Beaux Arts "Cottages" of Bellevue Avenue in Newport Rhode Island. Each home's wealth of architectural features including interior and exterior doors, wainscoting, paneled walls, accent walls of shiplap, wide crown, baseboards and trim, mantles, marbled surfaces and more are inspired by her rich architectural surroundings during her younger days in Newport.

Her homes boast plentiful lighting to set off the architectural details and modern day fabrics and color choices that resemble the elements of the bodies of water and the shores of the seaside towns in which most of them are built.
